5.My experience
5-1. A place of unforgettable memories
My workplace at the time was in Ginza, so I often had the opportunity to go out for lunch with my colleagues. Among these,” FURANSUYA” left a particularly strong impression on me. It is quietly tucked away in a corner of an alley behind Matsuya Department Store, marked by an engine-coloured signboard. I still remember the feeling of going back in time when I went down the stairs to the basement. The restaurant was quiet but lively, and it was an important time to refresh myself during a break from work. The menu is mainly Western food, but sweets are also popular, and even now, more than 20 years later, I still visit the restaurant from time to time, and it is a place of such fond memories, where I am accepted just as I was at that time.
5-2.Attraction as a hidden gem
“FURANSUYA” is a well-known restaurant with a special presence in Ginza, but it also has the charm of a hidden gem, known only to those in the know. Even though there are no big signs or advertisements, its existence spreads by word of mouth and regular customers never cease to come back.
5-3. A place to keep coming back to
For me, the Butsuraniya is an essential place to spend special moments. I would like to continue to spend heart-warming moments with its history and traditions.
